  • IT’S NATIONAL SIBLINGS DAY!

Today, April 10, is National Siblings day. We do not get to choose our siblings, they are gifted to us by God, which makes it a very special relationship that should be nurtured with understanding and love.

This is a special day to let your siblings know how much they mean to you. Shower them with appreciation in any form – whether gifts, kind messages or take them out for a nice lunch, where you can share some of your stories growing up. Bond all over again. Find ways to reconnect, and celebrate your love for each other; re-devout yourself by promising to have each other’s back. Your sisters and brothers are a huge part of your life.

    Here are heartwarming sibling messages:

*My brother is my strength and even if he is not with me I can feel him heartily.

*Siblings are made to face any situation of life together.

*My sister always sees her superhero in me and I’m proud to be her brother.

*A sister can be your mother, a teacher, a guide, and a friend.

*Without a sibling-like you, my childhood would be incomplete.

*I have a sibling and therefore, I have a friend for life!

*The reason behind my unforgettable and awesome childhood is you, my sibling!

*Whether we are side by side or apart, we are still siblings and keep on remembering from the heart.

  • GRATITITUDE: FAVOURITE BIBLE VERSES

“GRATITUDE helps us see GOD. Gratitude opens our spiritual eyes. There’s a beautiful cycle in giving God thanks: the more we thank Him, the more we see Him working in us and around us. FOR everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, because it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer. — 1 Timothy 4:4-5

AND let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. — Colossians 3:15

  • HEY, MARCH! WHAT DO YOU HAVE FOR US?

    It’s a New Month!

We ask four women what expectations and aspirations they have for March:

“They just announced a new president of Nigeria. Although this is not what we prayed for, I hope we survive it. I hope Nigeria does not erupt. This is the only country I have. My family, my business, my income. I don’t have the energy to fight. I just want to find a way to survive Nigeria.” – Ekwy

“I have plans to travel to two countries this month. Bags are packed and I am looking forward to the adventure. I have spent my entire life taking care of others, it is time to prioritize myself and see what is out there. Maybe I would find my prince charming at my destination. LOL!” – Yolanda

“I am looking forward to more opportunities. It is the last month of the first quarter of the year, I am tempted to bring out the score sheet and start to check how well I have done, but that is just my OCD talking. I am looking forward to an amazing March, and I wish that for Nigeria.” – Mirian

    Happy New Month, everyone!

  • QUOTE OF THE DAY

Making smart choices should be the way you approach life every day. Have it in your survival kit, in your soft-life kit, business kit, and life kit! Making smart choices is the flex the world says it is. It saves you from unnecessary drama, it protects you from situations that can destroy, it preserves you and creates the path to live a life full of beauty.

Do not underestimate your power to choose or decide what is best for you.

Make smart decisions about the lover in your life. Make smart decisions about friends. Make smart decisions about your job. Make smart decisions about the activities that take up your time. Make smart decisions on family.

The goal is to surround yourself with people who reflect the life you consciously and deliberately design for yourself, and surround yourself with things, ambitions and experiences that propel you towards your desired goal.

When you know you are WORTHY, then you will naturally think of how you want to be treated and how you want your life to be. You choose how people treat you, because it is in your power to design your life through smart thinking and smarter decision making.

    Make smart decisions, darlings.
