  • GRATITITUDE: FAVOURITE BIBLE VERSES

    “GRATITUDE helps us see GOD. Gratitude opens our spiritual eyes. There’s a beautiful cycle in giving God thanks: the more we thank Him, the more we see Him working in us and around us. Gratitude helps us sense God’s presence, His personal care and His perfect timing.” We find this words from Lisa Appelo blog to be instructive.

    God moves with the level of your gratitude. Spiritual doors are open when you drench yourself in gratitude. There are so many benefits to staying grateful. As you move through the tides in a difficult situation, remember to be still and practice gratitude.

    Here are some of our favourite bible verses that puts us in the mood of GRATITUDE:

    Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. – Philippians 4:6

    I will give thanks to you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds. – Psalm 9:1

    THEREFORE we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. – 2 Corinthians 4:16

    EVERY good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change. – James 1:17

    As Nigerians get set to VOTE for the next president, here are few Bible affirmations to keep hope alive. May God see us through. Amen:

  • Have A Blessed Good Friday!

    It’s #GoodFriday

    Today we celebrate the greatest rescue mission in history!

    Today we meet God most vulnerable and most powerful – a day of paradox in which defeat is victory and death is life for all.

    Today, we remember the day Jesus Christ died on the cross to save us from our sins. May we learn love, compassion and sacrifice from him.

    On this holy day, may his light guide your path, may his love grace your heart. And may his sacrifice strengthen your soul!

    For all those silently enduring loss, shame, loneliness, & brokenness: You are LOVED! You are never alone.

    May the blessings of the Lord shine upon you on this Holy Day and may He always keep you in his loving care!

  • You need to read this real life experience

    I thought to share this experience from a friend of mine. He posted it on his Facebook page. I hope it touches you and encourages you to live a life worthy of our Lord’s coming always.

    Should I call it a Vision or a Dream?
    Real experience happened early hours of Sunday January 15, 2017.

    On Saturday I arrived at the Tennis Club to hang out with my friends. We stayed late and agreed to meet at 7pm to go to a club and have drinks and listen to music. Went back to the hotel, freshened up and drove back to the clubhouse from where we went to the night club. We had drinks and ate diner and then left. I drove back to the hotel and went to bed. My alarm clock woke me up at 5am, I went to the bathroom and returned to my bed. Not sure if I slept or just in a trance but I found myself walking on the most beautiful and widest road I had ever seen. It was so smooth and I wondered why we did not have these kinds of roads. Then I looked in the distance and saw a huge gate across the road. The gate was grey in color, made of metal. It was a continuous gate, as wide as the eyes can see in both directions and the height was well into the clouds. Was amazed. But as I walked closer, I could feel the heat radiating from the gate. The heat increased with every step I took towards the gate. At some point it was becoming unbearable so asked myself, is this the entrance to hell? I then summed up courage shouted the following words. “GOD, in the name of YOUR SON our LORD and Saviour JESUS CHRIST, I don’t want to go to this hell. I then heard a loud and clear voice that said “OKAY THEN, TURN AROUND AND GO BACK.” I turned around and started walking back and then I woke up. I heard GOD speak to me. I could not look up to the direction of the voice but heard the deep but loud voice instructing me to go back. This is too vivid, scary and I cant stop thinking about it. I was very shaken when I woke up. So said to share. I am available to talk about this.

  • 7 Bible Verses To Restore Your Faith In The New Year

    We are already two weeks into 2017! Thank God for His amazing kindness.

    It has been an interesting year so far and I’m grateful for everything God has helped me accomplish so far.

    As we look forward to the rest of the year and think about our expectations and goals, I’d like us to encourage ourselves in the word of God with these Bible Verses. I hope your faith is renewed with these promises from God:

    Romans 8:28
    And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to his purpose.

    Jeremiah 29:11
    “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

    Matthew 6:34
    Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough troubles of its own.

  • These Three Things…

    And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. – 1 Corinthians 13:13

    This is one favourite Bible verse among a lot of Christians, containing three important things we need to live by.

    Faith, by which we apprehend spiritual blessings, and walk with God. Hope, by which we view and expect eternal blessedness, and pass through things temporal so as not to lose those which are eternal. Love, by which we show forth the virtues of the grace which we receive by faith in living a life of obedience to God, and of good will and usefulness to man.

    The greatest of these remains love. Love to our fellow man, love to our family, even love to those who least expect it. Sadly, love is also misunderstood in our world. It has been distorted, redefined, and perverted so that all manner of vices are described as love.
