  • Forgive Yourself…

All of us make mistakes at times. As humans, we’re imperfect.

We’ve all done things we’re not proud of. However, stewing in remorse isn’t a productive way to cope. As difficult as it may seem, letting go of guilt and shame is a necessary part of moving on from any mistake or embarrassment.

Unfortunately, the decision to feel miserable for the rest of your life can have tragic consequences. And not always in obvious ways. A lot of people struggle with self-condemnation or self-blame because they’ve either done something they feel was wrong and they feel guilty, or because they feel that they’re wrong or defective in some way and they feel a sense of shame. No one can beat us up better than we beat ourselves up.

When we try to forgive ourselves, we’re trying to release something that feels like it is part of us. We’re releasing who we were in the moment that we did whatever it was.

It’s time for you to remind yourself that you’re doing the best you can. I would love for you to let go of the burden you might be carrying around so you can learn how to forgive yourself and start to experience some freedom in your life.

There’s a season for our suffering and regret. We have to have that. But the season ends; the world moves on. And we need to move on with it.

  • These Three Things…

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. – 1 Corinthians 13:13

This is one favourite Bible verse among a lot of Christians, containing three important things we need to live by.

Faith, by which we apprehend spiritual blessings, and walk with God. Hope, by which we view and expect eternal blessedness, and pass through things temporal so as not to lose those which are eternal. Love, by which we show forth the virtues of the grace which we receive by faith in living a life of obedience to God, and of good will and usefulness to man.

The greatest of these remains love. Love to our fellow man, love to our family, even love to those who least expect it. Sadly, love is also misunderstood in our world. It has been distorted, redefined, and perverted so that all manner of vices are described as love.

What is your definition of love?

  • #PrayForNigeria

It’s not about the numbers, its about the people… precious lives brutally cut short in their prime

100, 150, 2000? Every single soul matters, every drop of blood that was shed counts

A human life should mean more to us, more than our religious beliefs or selfish desires

This is one death too many. These senseless killings must stop!

Terrorism, Vandalism, Killings, Massacre, Bombings… have taken the lives of those who had a future, and those who were still searching

I say a prayer for peace, a prayer of hope, a prayer for Nigeria

    God Bless Nigeria

  • Believe In Yourself

    Believe in yourself

Belief in yourself is the foundation of self confidence.

I know it can often be hard to believe in yourself, especially if you feel like you have nothing to offer or are unworthy of things. But you are worthy and you are capable. (more…)
