  • Rest In Peace…. Dr Babatunde Osotimehin

Today, I remember a great man, a renowned global public health leader and a beloved father who passed on recently. Dr Babatunde Osotimehin, who until his death a few days ago was the Executive Director of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) is someone whose contributions to reducing maternal mortality and promoting universal access to reproductive health always served as an inspiration to me. It’s sad that he is gone and I commiserate with his family and loved ones. He will always be remembered for his passionate and diligent service.

    Rest In Peace.

  • Rest In Peace, Muna Obiekwe

It’s taken a while for this to sink in, taken a while for me to get over the shock and accept that this is real.

Muna Obiekwe has passed on and the vacuum his death left is so huge. Reports have it that he passed away on Sunday due to kidney complications.

His death is really sad and shocking. I had the privilege of working with him a few times and he always exuded professionalism and dedication. His demise is unfortunate and untimely and he will be greatly missed.

I’m sending my love to his family and everyone who loved him. My heart is broken by this news.

    Rest In Peace… Muna.

  • Rest In Peace Chaz B…

I just heard the sad news that popular radio personality Chaz B has passed on. This is so so sad!

He inspired so many with his radio programme ‘Sharing Life Issues‘ and I’ve been personally blessed by his advice and lessons.

He has a positive impact on so many lives and his words truly helped heal many relationships and broken homes.

Although the official cause of his death has not been confirmed, he had  a history of kidney health problems and underwent a successful kidney transplant in 2012 after receiving a kidney donation from his wife.

I can’t imagine what his wife and children would be going through right now but I pray that God gives them strength to bear this irreplaceable loss.

He will be dearly missed. May his soul Rest In Peace
