  • How Did You Spend Valentine’s Day?

    Hi lovelies,

Yesterday was Valentine’s Day, a day celebrated around the world to show feelings of love, affection and friendship. Each year on February 14th, many people exchange cards, candy, gifts or flowers with their special “valentine.”

My day was beautiful and I spent it with my hubby as usual *wink* 💗 💗

How did you spend your Valentine’s Day? Did you give or receive any gifts? What does Valentine mean to you?

  • Adorable Pictures from my Motherhood In-Style Magazine Shoot

    Hey SL Fabz,

What better way to wrap up the year than with the cutest magazine cover! And of course you know who makes it ‘cute’ 😻

I’m so honoured to grace the cover of Motherhood In-Style magazine with my precious son, Maxwell! Having a photoshoot with him was really adorable. He didn’t stress us much and he lighted up the photos.

If you haven’t gotten a copy of the magazine yet, please hurry and do so. You’ll find in it my very honest interview about pregnancy, motherhood and family as well as lots of interesting features for the entire family.

Thanks again to Motherhood In-Style and the awesome team behind the photo shoot.

Here’s wishing you all a very Merry Christmas in advance! 🎄

  • HICC… Adam & Eve

    Hi SL Fabz,

Another new month is here! Whoop!!!

    Happy New Month.

Two Sundays ago, I was at the Harvesters International Christian Centre here in Lagos with my hubby for a program tagged Adam & Eve Special. This was a couple’s event where we shared our experiences about our marriage, our love and how we keep it together.

We had an interesting time in the presence of God and His children and I pray that there will be a renewal of love in our marriages and our homes this new month.

Here are some pictures from the event:

  • My Latest Movie, ‘Boonville Redemption’ To Be Released In November

It’s been a long time coming, but I’m glad my most recent movie feature is about to be released!

It’s an American Western production titled Boonville Redemption, where I starred alongside other talented actors like Pat Boone, Edward Asner, Diane Ladd, Richard Tyson, Shari Rigby, Kassandra Voyagis, Robert Hays, Emily Hoffman and more.

In the movie, I play the role of Doris, a lady from the second generation of slave trade in America whose parents came from Nigeria. Doris is no longer a slave and she lives with her Uncle in this community where people are not judged by their race or colour. She forms a bond with a young girl, Melinda, who grew up not knowing her father.

    boonville-redemption

    Here’s the synopsis:

13-year-old Melinda is angry about the hand life has dealt her. Being born out of wedlock and scorned by many, she struggles to find out who she is in this world, to herself, her family and to God.

Melinda desperately wants to know what happened to her real father. Determined to do all within her power to find her father, Melinda’s bravery compels some of the townspeople to reveal the dark secrets that they have kept to themselves for years.

Her example gives them strength to bring the truth to light and ultimately to find forgiveness and redemption. Along with Boonville’s residents, Melinda learns that when you look for the truth, that’s where you’ll find grace.

The movie will be released in November and I’m so happy about this. Watch the trailer below:

  • WIN 2 Tickets to the DRY Movie Premiere in Lagos on 2nd August!

    Hi dearies!

    I hope you’ve had a lovely week.

I know the official announcement has not yet been made, but I love to share things here with you my faithful readers first and that’s exactly what I’m doing.

Finally, DRY is going to be showing in cinemas across Nigeria and you’ll get a chance to see my latest work! I’m so excited!! From Friday 14th August, DRY will be showing at Silverbird Cinemas across Nigeria. So if you live in any of these cities: Lagos, Abuja, Portharcourt, Ilorin, AkwaIbom and Kano – you can watch the movie at the cinemas very soon.

But before the nationwide release, Next Page Productions will be hosting a movie premiere in Lagos to launch it to the general public and I’d love to see you there! Yes, YOU!

I’d be giving out two free tickets to the movie premiere which will take place on Sunday 2nd August 2015 at the Silverbird Cinemas, Ahmadu Bello Way, Victoria Island, Lagos. To make this more interesting, one person will win two tickets so you can have fun with that special someone at the movie premiere.

To win, answer these questions correctly in the comment section below:

    1. What is the name of my character in the movie?

    2. What major cultural practice does DRY speak against?

    3. DRY was shot in two countries. Name them.

PLEASE NOTE: Answer the questions below in the comment section and not on the Facebook Page or Facebook Comments below. Put in your phone number, email address and location also. It will be edited before being published. If you put your phone number on the facebook page or facebook comment section, I won’t be able to edit it and I don’t want any dubious people calling you about fake wins. This is very important.

This could also be a chance for me to walk the red carpet with you and to meet some of my fans! So, if you think you know the answers to the questions above, put them in the comment section and maybe you could be the lucky winner.

The movie premiere will also be attended by other stars in the movie such as Liz Benson-Ameye, Zubaidat Ibrahim Fagge and many more. This would be fun!

I can’t wait to read your answers.
