I have a fear of speaking among my colleagues, thinking I’ll say something wrong to be laughed at. It has even gone as far as at the work place. I’m always mute when we are in meetings. Not that I don’t know what to say but I’m just afraid.
Would you please help me to overcome my fears especially in public speaking?

SL Fabz, here we go, what do we advise M to do?
My advice to M is for her to ave confidence in herself and believe she can do it, and it is better to speak out, made dat mistake and be laughed at than to keep mute, her frequent speaking in public will expose her more and also allay anxiety, and once you’ve done dat, u’ll notice there’s something perfect in u, pls dear M, am encouraging to speak out wit confidence, I was once in ur shoes but now, I talk boldly and get corrected, no one is perfect. Stand in front of the mirror at any given opportunity and speak to urself against fear, like ….I shall not be afraid to speak in public, fear is not part of me, people that exhibit fear does not progress etc… Above all take it to God in prayer. Am sure u can break that jinx cos only u can do it for yourself. Cheers!
Omg, wat a pity I understand how u feel and wat u r going through. I was once like u. But u need to fight it urself,always pray to over come d spirit of fear in u. And try and mixup wit lively people, like ur friends ok. I love you. Take gud care.

U just have to b urself and say what u have to say, cos b it right or wrong, someone will definitely say something. Its all about Opinion & Suggestion. do not let another person steal ur Idea all bcos of FEAR!
Go on ur kneel & pray to GOD to help u come out of dat shell of fear, HE will surely see u 2ru.
Just go ahead and open your mouth, let them laugh at you its no big deal but one day they will all listen most definitely to what you have to say.
