Funmi Oladimeji!

After selecting six comments, we placed calls to the ones who responded to our emails promptly, Funmi was one of them and her story was quite interesting…

A wife and mother of a one-year-old baby, Funmi keeps a balanced home working a 9-to-5 and taking care of her baby. Her husband is located at another state and, as should be expected, that puts an emotional strain on all she needs to do every single day. She would like some “me time” to acquaint herself with the beautiful woman she knows she really is.

She deserves it, doesn’t she?Smile

But hey! You are all special, ok? And you all deserve this pack, but it’s just one pack and it can only go to one person. So let’s give it to Funmi, shall we?

      Hello Floxybee, it does count. The quote above was from the phone call we made to Funmi (we make the calls to ascertain sincerity etc). Her response to the question was in the family of 20s. We give that concession especially when it seems many people aren’t following the rules. we wouldn’t want to be too strict 🙂 but we always make verification and that would mean chatting some more to get necessary details on the person. When we give the word count rule, we expect that people would follow it if they truly want to win. Thank you for asking.

    @ Admin, I already guessed it will go to someone with children. Well next time ask for more details when you make the calls. A married career woman still childless after 6yrs of marriage could just be passing through more stress… 🙂 you can never tell.

      they should ask for more details OR you should give more details? human beings are never satisfied. They called u like u said (which is even an extra step to make u feel special), isn’t that the opportunity to start talking? If they invite you for an interview in an office is it not an opportunity to get to know u more? u no talk wen they call u and now u are giving the info here for free. my sister next time, tell ur story when u have to.

        Lizzy, I didn’t mean to quarrel. When called, i answered questions I was asked (one of which was “do you have children”). I wont bother exchanging words with you. I am just stating a fact.

          Uray, I am not quarrelling with u either. but a good interviewee knows that when they ask u, “do u have children?” ur next response will be, “No. I am still waiting on the Lord. It’s been 6 years now…” or something like dat. How do u expect them to know if u dont tell. Or were u expecting them to ask you why you don’t have children????? What i’m saying is next time say what u have to say.
