  • What are you reading this weekend?

From inspirational books, to spiritual books…

    How-to books, do-it-yourself books…

    Nonfiction materials to fictional stories…

    News, blogs, autobiographies and biographies…

Whatever you decide, just make sure you READ.

And do not complain about the length of the material

Read, it is one of the very few ways to rise above average.

    Happy Weekend!

  • Wednesday Vava Voom!

I am going to share with you some of the most unlikely things that can brighten a some-what dull or bad day.

    Are you ready?

If you are having a bad moment with your partner, go into the shower and then let the water remain on your skin. Wrap a nice soft cloth around you, grab a nice book or magazine and escape into it and you’ll feel better about the whole situation

For the ladies, if you are having a tough day at work, maybe your boss is not impressed with a particular brief you are handling, take a minute and touch-up your makeup. Put some sweet lipstick on and powder your nose, then exhale. Aha! Try it and see if it doesn’t bring you alive.

If you have too many things on your mind driving you crazy; that is not the time to stay locked up. Wear something comfortable and take a leisure walk for, at least, 20 minutes. It’ll unclog your mind.

And finally, when your body feels like it needs your attention/rest, give it water. The benefits of drinking, at least, 6 bottles of water a day is countless.

Go on and have a beautiful Wednesday!

  • Poetry for the soul

It’s the weekend, let’s kick it off with some sweet love poem 🙂

    ***

“I loved you first; but afterwards your love”- Christina Rossetti

I loved you first: but afterwards your love

Outsoaring mine, sang such a loftier song

As drowned the friendly cooings of my dove.

Which owes the other most? my love was long,

     And yours one moment seemed to wax more strong;

I loved and guessed at you, you construed me

And loved me for what might or might not be –

Nay, weights and measures do us both a wrong.

For verily love knows not ‘mine’ or ‘thine;’

With separate ‘I’ and ‘thou’ free love has done,

For one is both and both are one in love:

Rich love knows nought of ‘thine that is not mine;’

Both have the strength and both the length thereof,

Both of us, of the love which makes us one.

  • Is the grass greener on the other side?

    Not likely.

If you are going to enjoy life’s journey…if you are going to birth phenomenal ideas and pursue greater goals, you must understand that comparing or equating yourself to others will not only leave you depressed and unfulfilled, it will drive all of your dreams to nought. You are on this race alone. Yes, there are people and there are competitions; they all have their place! Your job is not to compare your neighbour’s car or house or wardrobe to yours; your job is to get your own life on the right track and live out your own purpose. Focus on what’s important. Half the time we worry and emphasize the insignificant whilst we leave the crucial areas of our lives unattended to.

The grass is green where you are; if you want it greener then you have to water it. You can get your grass green, and you can get it to wilt.

    It’s all in your power.

  • Tuesday Morning Inspiration!

    Know who you are:

It all starts from here- knowing who you really are and the things you’ll accept in your life. You can’t know what you want if you don’t know who you are. Who you are is who you say you are…and if you believe you are what you say you are then your actions and thoughts must align with that image of what you are.

Be consistent in building your personal brand.

Who you are will attract the (right) people and things and opportunities.

    So find yourself.

  • Are the kids reading?

If we want a better society, if we want change and development on the increase

If we want our economy to grow, our lives to flourish

If we want a brighter tomorrow, a future laden with possibilities…

It is important that we engage the little ones in the things that matter

    One of them is READING!

    Are we reading?

And are we encouraging the kids to read?

I am not talking academic materials only

They need to explore life through books

They need to visit the world through books

Buy a book today for a child

Help build the future of Nigeria

    Welcome to a new week!

  • Boonville Redemption- shoot starts today!

I’ll be on the set of an American western movie, playing the role of Doris- a lady from the second generation of slave trade in America whose parents came from Nigeria. Doris is no longer a slave and she lives with her Uncle in this community where people are not judged by their race or colour. She is a strong compassionate woman who forms a bond with a young girl, Melinda, who grew up not knowing her father. Doris plays the role of convincing her Uncle to reveal the truth to this young girl about her father’s whereabouts. She also helps take care of Miss Mary, Melinda’s grandmother when she was ill and sheltered a young boy who had no place to stay.

We are shooting in Los Angeles and this also gives me enough time to work on the post-production for my soon-to-be-released movie, Dry.

There’s also my reality show, “Make Me Fabulous” that is also in the works. I’ve shot some episodes and I truly believe y’all will find it inspiring.

    These are exciting times!

You, my dear regular fans of this blog, will be the first to see the behind the scene shots of Boonville Redemption. Just keep your eyes glued to Stephanie Daily.

I wish you a wonderful weekend!

    Love, always!

  • Guys, what would you do?

    Guys, it’s your turn!

You have been dating this lady for two years. You have been a good man to her, you have both talked about marriage and made casual plans about the future.

Then you decide to plan an elaborate proposal. You invite both your families and friends to a classy restaurant; you have purchased an expensive diamond ring…

She walks in, the place is dark so she cannot see all her family and friends. During dinner, with cool love music playing, the lights come on, she looks around and sees every familiar face, she is surprised.

You go down on one knee and ask her to be your wife.

    “Sweetheart, will you marry me?”

She looks into your eyes and says…

    “No.”

Then walks out of the place.

    What would you do?

  • What would you do?

Ladies, what would you do if…

You find out your fiancé has impregnated your neighbour’s 15 year old daughter?
