  • 5 ways to soar into a new week!

    Let’s help you through 5 ways to a smooth daily ride!

    Get rest: Wake up feeling refreshed, energized and ready to go! Getting, at least, 8 hours of rest is the first step to approaching a new day with enthusiasm and drive.

    Eat breakfast: It is important. Breakfast gives you that oomph to start off brilliantly. A plate of oatmeal, two slices of bread or maybe just an apple can be the healthy way to having a great day.

    Write it down: It is time to own a jotter or a diary where you organise your thoughts and plans for the week appropriately. Writing your daily/weekly plan helps you stay focused on the things that are truly necessary.

    Be positive: It is one of the important methods to success. Life is hard as it is, you do not need to generate negative vibes to deal with the hustle of life. Think positive, stay positive. If you allow the negativity around you affect you, you will struggle through many paths. Do no be ashamed to look up to heaven and ask God for the grace to stay positive.

    Work out: It will help your body, mind and soul. Exercise is the one secret to a wholly sufficient life. You’ll be amazed how much anxiety and fear you’ll lose by jogging and doing your aerobics, climbing up stairs or taking a walk.

    Bring Back Our Girls

    The past few weeks has been a very trying time for Nigerians, especially the families of over 200 girls kidnapped in Borno state.

    But beyond the sadness and despair we feel about the abduction of these girls, the incident has united Nigeria in an unprecedented way and proved what we can achieve through a united effort. We have all raised our voices against this injustice, sparing no means to express ourselves.

    What began as a social media campaign initiated by a few concerned individuals has erupted to a global one with people across the world lending their voice to the cause. You would have to be living in a cave not to have heard of #BringBackOurGirls.  (more…)

    Yesterday, we were greeted with the sad news that there was yet another bomb blast which claimed the lives of many at Nyanya, a satellite town in the outskirts of Abuja.

    This is to compound the agony we have been experiencing as a nation over the abduction of over 200 girls from a secondary school in Borno state.

    Our country has witnessed violence on an unprecedented scale, in measures that have torn deep into the fabric of national and international life. Terrorism, killings, abductions, child marriages, insecurity and injustice continues to threaten the lives of masses of human beings. (more…)

    Recently, I started shooting a Reality Series for couples called ‘Make Me Fabulous‘. The show is a one-of-its-kind where couples are treated to a special day away from home which includes several packages and a delicious dinner in the evening.

    A day is dedicated to one lucky couple who would be picked up from their home in grand style, taken for shopping and some special treats during the day. The lucky woman would also be treated to some hair, beauty and style transformation that is sure to get her husband or fiance excited. They would then be lodged in a five-star hotel for the night!

  • Make Me Fabulous – Second Winner!

    The joy that comes from giving couples a great time to spend with each other is one important thing that makes me and the entire Make Me Fabulous team fulfilled again and again.

    For the past week, we’ve been shooting a reality TV series called Make Me Fabulous where we take couples away from the hectic demands of work for just one day and give them a special treat. The lucky woman would be treated to some hair, beauty and style transformation that is sure to get her husband or fiance excited. They would also have a lovely date and win some Fabulous prizes.

    Becky Elu and her husband Mike Elu are the second winners of this series. Yesterday, we picked them up from their home in style, took them out for shopping and gave the woman a style transformation. By the time the stylists were done with her, she looked very different and more glamorous than the woman you see in the picture above. (more…)
